Paul Beard

Affectionately known Beardy, he is James’s pianist. He regularly plays with James on stage or on TV and does so extremely well. He has also worked with bands such as Razorlight. He was the first of the band to join James. Paul Beard often travels with James during promotional tours and so does not hesitate to promote songs with him on TV, and even does some acrobatics on stage. Paul Beard wrote and co-produced with James the song Dear Katie. He is of course also part of the “all the lost souls” adventure. Paul was also present along with James when he returned to Kosovo and made the documentary "Return to Kosovo". Paul is James’s right arm, his long-standing friend!                                                                 His birthday : august 4th

Ben Castle

Ben has been the guitarist of the group since 2005, replacing Paul Freeman. Although he can appear to be the most reserved of the group, this is not really true, as proved by many videos of the lads on tour where Ben can be seen clowning about for our biggest pleasure ! .                                                      His Birthday: 15 th January

Karl Brazil

Karl is James’s drummer (he was with him, notably, for the Bedlam sessions). He also played with other great artists including Elton John (in 2005), Lionel Richie, Shana Twain, Fifi Dobson .. He joined James in June 2004 for his appearance at Glastonbury and has established an excellent reputation as a drummer and is considered one of the best in England. Since 1994 Karl has also participated in numerous concerts around the world with some of the greatest artists. He is of course the drummer on “All the lost souls”. John Garrison

John is the new bassist of the group who joined in January 2008, replacing Malcolm Moore following his departure. John was with the band for the whole tour of “all the lost souls”. He is an accomplished musician, playing several instruments. He is also a singer and his first album "Above the Cosmos" is excellent. He has just finished recording his second album in New York that is due to be released in Nov 2009. Malcolm Moore

Malcolm Moore is James’s former bassist and lends his voice to certain songs. He joined James in June 2004 for the first performance at Glastonbury. He also played with Elton John. When James presents him on stage he refers to him as "the very tall Malcolm Moore". Malcolm left the group in late 2007 to devote himself to his group "Themillionstars" with his wife, find their  website here and Myspace.
